Structures of the Network: General Assembly, Executive Committee, Secretariat, Communication Specialist, Capacity Building Specialist, Working Groups
General Assembly: It consists of representatives of all network member organisations.
- It meets at least once a year upon the call of the Executive Committee.
- Decisions are taken by the majority of the NGO representatives attending the meeting.
- The General Assembly elects the Executive Committee.
- It discusses and decides on the strategic plan and activity plan prepared by the Executive Committee and the Secretariat.
Executive Committee: The members of the EC are elected by the GA
- Represents RODA in national and/or international meetings or events.
- It monitors RODA's activities in order to continue in line with the strategic plan and activity plan.
- It checks whether the work of the network is carried out on the basis of the common working principles specified in this directive.
- It carries out work to create resources for RODA in cooperation with the Secretariat.
- Provides logistics and communication support for the sustainability of RODA; carries out work for financial sustainability.
Supervisory Board:
- It consists of 3 full and 3 alternate members. In case of resignation from permanent members, the substitute member replaces the permanent member and remains a member of the Supervisory Board until the term of office is completed.
- The Supervisory Board starts its duty with the Executive Committee and continues to work during the term of the Executive Committee.
- It checks the compliance of the activities and studies performed with the goals and objectives of the network.
- Checks the regularity of the financial expenses of the network.
- It submits the annual inspection reports to the General Assembly.
Secretariat: The Secretariat of RODA runs by the Zero Discrimination Association.
- It coordinates the work of the network with the approval of the Executive Committee, conducts the relevant correspondence and provides information sharing regarding them.
- It contributes to fundraising efforts for the sustainability of RODA in cooperation with the Executive Committee and carries out activities for the visibility of the network.
- It carries out archiving activities of RODA, including membership records.
- Represents RODA in meetings and events within the knowledge of the Executive Committee.
- It carries out the preparations for the General Assembly together with the Executive Committee.
- It works in cooperation with the Executive Committee to carry out corporate identity work for RODA.
Working Groups: They establish by the Executive Committee on the basis of need.
- It prepares documents regarding the work area and shares it with the Secretariat and the Executive Committee.
- It determines the needs in the work area and carries out work towards these needs within the knowledge of the Executive Committee and the Secretariat.
- Working groups can be composed of groups such as women, children-young people, disabled, refugee and topics environment, fundraising, communication, visibility, as well as in different areas determined in the General Assembly.
